Oval Superstars is a fresh new company looking to one day grow into a major national sports business. Proudly based in Upper Hutt City, New Zealand, Oval Superstars has roots dating back years although the company was only officially formed in June 2016. The business is 100% Kiwi owned and operated by the Hadley family and has some major goals for its future.

Currently, Oval Superstars has three sports brands and was founded from its involvement in Motorsport. Those three brands include the NZ Dirt Track Racing Magazine, the Oval Superstars Tour and the recently launched Sports Mega eStore. Although the first two are motorsport focused, Sports Mega has been designed as Oval’s first brand with multi sport potential.

Oval Superstars is extremely focused on its goals and will continue to push forward through the coming years. The sports industry is massive and the team have plenty of plans to tackle it.

Long before Oval Superstars was founded, the Minisprint class had another major event formed in Wellington, the Windy City Showdown. Originally named the “Showdown in the Windy City” the event was quickly and naturally renamed to its now much simpler title. The first ever showdown was won by reigning New Zealand #2 Jamie Larsen, ahead of Declan Roe and Hall of Famer Shaun Cooke.
